Trust me, no one is more surprised to see 5 stars on a magic show review than me. I don't like magic shows... I only booked this show because I like to have a well-rounded Fringe schedule, and I think it only fair to cover as much of the wild variety on offer at the festival as possible.

Well, Australian magic duo Sam and Justin may just have changed my mind on magicians! I am genuinely astonished by what I've just seen in their Adults Only Magic Show. They are real life wizards! Not only that but they are both charming and fun. There isn't a top hat or a rabbit in sight.

Innovative, mind-blowing magic

Instead their show is full of unique, innovative and honestly mind-blowing tricks utilising great, modern staging. I don't know how they did it. Any of it! And the room was full of lecture-chair detectives trying to catch them out at every turn. There was creative comedy, there were thrilling illusions, there was a whole load of cheekiness and just a hint of nudity.

The Adults Only Magic Show is simply the best, most entertaining magic I've ever seen in real life, on TV, or anywhere. The atmosphere they built in the venue, and the reaction from the crowd said it all. This show and these guys are sensational. I think I need to go back. Wow. ★★★★★
