Scottish audiences are invited to a glorious-send off like no longer as A Play, A Pie and A Pint, in association with Drive Official, present Funeral for My Boobs, an autobiographical cabaret-style musical performing in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Ayr this May.
Written by and starring Edinburgh-born performer and singer Hannah Howie, this uplifting show is inspired by her own experience of undertaking a double mastectomy and reconstructive surgery after discovering that she had a faulty gene that dramatically increases the risk of cancer.
The musical sees Howie ‘officiate’ the funeral alongside two performers, who play her left and right breast respectively, as they sing dazzling cabaret versions of hits, including One Night Only, My Heart Will Go On, and That’s Life.
Funeral for My Boobs will be directed by Chris Stuart Wilson, with Stuart Fleming as the performing musical director/arranger, and set and costume design by Heather Grace Currie.

Hannah Howie said:
“At the risk of sounding trite, it's not about the boobs you are given in life, but how you deal with those boobs. In this case, I am bidding them adieu, but with style, and with the odd song. Dress accordingly. No flowers, please. Purvey to follow!"
After a development last year at Tron Theatre, Funeral for My Boobs will have its world premiere at Òran Mór, Glasgow from 4-9 May, followed by a short Scottish tour at The Gaiety, Ayr (14-16 May) and Assembly Roxy, Edinburgh (18-23 May), as part of A Play, A Pie and A Pint’s Spring 2026 season.
